Current UVic 1st Year BEng and BSEng students
The allocation of students into BEng and BSEng degree programs will be carried out on a competitive basis. Each student’s GPA over the Winter session and personal preference will be taken into consideration along with the number of openings within the programs. Therefore, all current 1st year Engineering (BEng) and Software Engineering (BSEng) students must declare or re-declare the program area they wish to pursue, through BEng/BSEng Degree Program Declaration. All 1st year students, both B.Eng. and BSEng, need to rank their program choices by logging in to BEng/BSEng Degree Program Declaration. Students must submit this information before April 30th to be considered during the allocation process.
